The Garden of the Gods

Set beside the tranquil Kanjia Lake on the edge of Bhubaneswar, Nandankanan — literally "the garden of the gods" — is one of India's most beloved zoological parks. It earned worldwide fame as the first zoo to successfully breed white tigers, and remains a leader in wildlife conservation.
